My Story
I’ve been playing the keys since as long as I can remember. It all started on my unweighted Yamaha keyboard, experimenting with all the combinations of tones and drum beats I could. Music production technology was limited in the early 90’s, but I found a way.
Growing up, I expanded my musical interests to the drums, guitar, and singing, but the keys have always felt like home to me.
When I was 18, I started to perform professionally with my band, and at 21 I decided to dedicate my life fully to music.
Since then, I’ve played hundreds (if not thousands) of shows, mentored hundreds of students, produced/written countless songs, and have partnered with some really cool brands like Splice, Novation, Focusrite, etc.
Along my musical journey, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a handful of great mentors that have helped me unlock my ability to express my ideas into my music.
I’ve combined decades of knowledge passed down from my mentors, along with my own personal findings, to create The ULC Method, designed to fast track the process of learning so you can play the ideas UNIQUE to you and speak the language of music.
